Year Group Information
| PE | Thursday - Please remember to wear your PE kit to school. |
| Water Bottles | Please remember to send in a named water bottle. |
| Outdoor Clothes | Please ensure that your child has a named warm, waterproof coat and wellington boots in school. Encourage your child to take their outdoor clothes on and off independently. |
Book Change Days
Reading books: Changed every Friday
Library Books: Changed every Tuesday
Please make sure your child returns their book(s) each week, so that new ones can be issued. Library and sharing books are marked with a heart and reading level books are marked with a star.
Plotters.
At the start of each half term, we will share our new learning plotters to give you a clear insight into your child's upcoming curriculum. Each plotter provides an overview of the term's topic alongside the core drivers shaping our learning. You will also find a breakdown of weekly learning expectations and the key vocabulary children will be introduced to throughout the unit, making it easier than ever to follow their progress and support their learning at home.
Menu of Excitement.
After consultation with teachers, governors and parents we have developed a new approach for 'home learning'. We have rebranded this as a menu of excitement! Year Teams will provide a new menu each half-term and the aim is for children and families to take the learning in whichever direction they would like. We have followed what a real menu looks like with the learning questions on the front and at the back some tasting notes- to give some guidance as to what the children could get up to! We hope you all enjoy it!
